@stux meta’s goals are the following:1. Show more ads to make more money.They can do this by keeping people on the platform longer to get more data to show more ads. Theyll increase the frequency of said ads to make kore money.

@stux I love how the poster thinks the Fediverse is off to a slow start not because it just started (which it did many years ago) but just because they first started seeing it on their platform of choice.Actually, that kind of proves the exact opposite... When a centralized network acknowledges the one that they don't want people to use instead of it and even integrates a little bit of it to try to keep them from leaving, it kind of says the opposite of slow start.
