my favorite pasttime is to keep saying i'm going to open commissions then never opening commissions. i think i'm serious this time i actually made a price sheet and am starting to collect examples but who knows? not me. never me. (no I actually really do need to open them as soon as I can figure out what is reasonable pricing for how expensive cost of living is I just hate feeling like i'm overcharging while everyone is struggling)

@afairmaiden most artists undercharge for comms due to undervaluing their work and themselves, I wouldn't worry about overcharging, I've almost never seen an artist on here charge an amount for comms that I thought was inappropriate for the quality of their work, but I have seen many, many people practically giving away excellent work at way too low of a price.

@GuyIncognito38 Yeah, i see so many people charging less than what i would need to charge to actually be able to make comms feasible, especially because they're not a supplemental source of income right now while i'm trying to figure out how to support myself. i'm someone who would happily pay $100 at minimum for colored art from an artist I admire so I guess I should try to see it that way.

@afairmaiden YESSSS I've been eager for a chance to get a commission from you!! Honestly I feel that especially given your circumstances, you shouldn't worry much about overcharging, as long as it's an amount people are willing to pay. It IS a luxury after all. Though I suppose I might be a bit biased because you're one of my favorite creators and I've been saving up specifically in case they open lol

There are so many characters and pairings I love and think would be amazing in your style... TOO many shotas and siblings and potential badtouchers in fiction to choose from...

@afairmaiden Artists are experimenting with Wise, but so far, the prognosis doesn't look great.Other artists are just using ko-fi, which is slightly less detrimental is that gets banned, but it seems to me that the ko-fi officials are less snoopy, so as long as you're careful, you should be fine for a long time.
