       @The_Icarian I’ve heard people saying this, and it’s a misunderstanding. It’s *sustained protest* by 3.5% of the population that’s been shown to bring down dictatorships. Usually that happens because of something like a disputed election. And that can mean weeks or months.  A lot of people going on a demonstration doesn’t magically make anything happen.
