       And now for a pet peeve of mine: no, castile soap doesn't do a great job of cleaning everything, and it really is very drying. So there.        @carolannie soapberries are sometimes claimed to be a universal cleaner, and they're great for laundry, but i didn't find them that fantastic for washing dishes and stuff. Mostly because it turns your skin oils into soap and that makes everything feel greasy until you think about it

       @picofarad Yes, I tried soapberry laundry soap. It's fine as a bodywash though, it isn't scummy or drying
