I still don't think anyone has explained the purpose of bike lanes to the people that are authorised to close them St Kilda Rd bike lane is closed heading south due to tram works on Domain Rd. The solution they came up with for the safety of people on bicycles during this closure is just to put them in to 50km/h traffic.I spoke to the traffic controllers putting out the signs and they didn't understand that this was a problem.#melbourne #bikelanes #bicycles
