@xris She is a rather nutty brown for Camponotus pennsylvanicus. They tend to be pure black AND have more hairs on the gaster. This is a tricky one!

@futurebird Thank you!The only in-focus shot I got. She was moving fast! The color isn't reliable. I process to make features more visible. Much darker-appearing in life.
