@Movietime_Blues —RE:”Grappling with shrinking viewership…”I’m guessing that getting rid of the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies library wasn’t such a great idea.Perhaps it’s time for the shareholders to get rid of the CEO. I posted not long ago that David Zaslav would be the death of the company.https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/warner-bros-discovery-cable-tv-layoffs-1236255751/

@BlkLdyPatriot The only thing I know about Looney Tunes is that they removed them from the HBO Max streaming services. However, I just read that the new movie "The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie" is going to HBO Max on June 27.https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/news/the-looney-tunes-are-back-with-aliens-bubble-gum-and-total-mayhem/ar-AA1FEguC?ocid=BingNewsVerp

@Movietime_Blues @BlkLdyPatriot I saw it, terrible. Nothing like the old looney tunes. Not funny, really stupid story line.

@Gmajv —Ever since Mel Blanc and a number of his colleagues (June Foray, Hans Conried, Daws Butler, Paul Frees) passed away, it’s been hard to really enjoy the newer versions of the classic cartoons. And there’s no comparison to the talent behind the scenes: the animators like Bob McKimson, Chuck Jones, and Isadore “Friz” Freleng, who brought the characters to life. They were the masters of animation.@Movietime_Blues
