       @monarchist I agree in principle, but it's my impression that the protests we see, however well intentioned, are useless, and change nothing. Perhaps that's my cynicism talking. If only our elected leaders, and courts would do their jobs, we little people could stay at home, drinking tea, and watching Trump's trial, and imprisonment on the tele.

       @Tharpa I tend to see protests as useless because they work around the democratic system, but the point of them is to mobilize the base.The future most likely involves mono-ethnic societies. Diversity is working nowhere: Northern Ireland, Rwanda, Kosovo, Palestine, etc.Socialism is working nowhere. It crashed birth rates. So that's going too.But then, maybe a simpler saner world.
