       @WanderingKnightYou ain't shittin. I had to trim that sucker back and secure it out of the way  because it was encroaching on some of my raised beds. I was bleeding like a stuck pig By the time I was finished.

       @Karl_W_BraunThanks. I'll look into that. Some of the canes are 8-10 ft tall when upright and 1 inch and diameter in the lower third.
