@foone 1.5 was Acrobat 6, which was released in 2003, so as long as Acrobat 6 or later is installed you should be fine.

@Thorsted damn. it turns out acrobat 5 is the last one to support win95. I'll have to figure out how to downgrade it.

@gabboman @Thorsted I downgraded it with ghostscript:gs -q -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dCompatibilityLevel=1.4 -o out.pdf in.pdf

@Thorsted I'd be more willing to experiment if this PDF wasn't gonna take 12 floppy disks to transfer over to my windows 95 machine!which also makes me realize that's way too big. I'm only gonna be printing on a oki microline 320, I can probably save on disks by pre-scaling the pdf to a lower resolution
