@JohnGritt With government programs and funding and contractors Elon Musk is what's referred to in the industry as A MONEY GUY. He's responsible for political intrigue and getting funding (by hook or by crook) for a program. And he's one of the best. Elon was angling to get FUNDING and to kneecap his competitors. He could give a rats ass about free speech or x or y, to him he's just seeing his subsidies drying up and checking on his receipts. THat being said, I like Elon Musk.

@JohnGritt Don’t all bills “come from the swamp”? Seems a rather non-sensical argument.

@covfefe That is a good point. The problem with Trump in a word: EgoThe guy thinks of himself as too clever, that he is somehow a massive deal maker who gets the better end of every deal. However, such a belief goes against the concept of a deal, of course.Trump has an alternative: "I will sign only 12 appropriation bills. Americans deserve to see greater detail in spending."He could have done that his first go round. He could do that now.
