@MJ I was just talking to a group of 20 and 30-something people last week about Harvey Milk. I asked how many had heard of him. It was only about 1/4th of them!When the names of civil rights leaders are erased from ships, buildings, museums, then the next generation might never learn about them…

@mls14 @MJ OTOH your book being banned or your name being removed is a true badge of honor from this administration and as such, it might achieve the opposite effect.I haven't heard Harvey Milk's name mentioned this many times ever.

@TonyStark @MJ @P__X As long as we keep pushing back, then these actions of theirs will backfire.By attempting to remove the names of historical civil rights leaders, they ended up getting those names into the news. A new generation of people who maybe never heard of them will now be looking them up and learning something… So yeah it becomes a self-own, but only if people point it out enough that it makes national news.
