Got the power back on in Foxton 30 mins ago. Off since late morning. Does anyone know what happened? I've been searching news sites but finding nothing.

@nzlemming Best I have: Electra reported the outage at 11:10 AM and dispatched crews to investigate and restore power. By 11:53 AM, electricity had been restored to 629 properties, while 177 remained without power. No cause given, last time someone parked their car in an 11kV power pole.

@sidawsonOne of them turned out to be a member of our brigade, which was a surprise. Counseling offered but not required. They survived, came back after 6 months...

@vik I found a member of that club in a small car park in Parnell one night.Absolutely no idea how they rolled it there.Big 6 metre tall white concrete wall and along the top there was #StreetArt :"SHORT PEOPLE GIVE ME THE SHITS".@sidawson
