       It's really disheartening how much the internet has taken a step back in accessibility for epileptics. 5 years ago, the setting to turn off autoplay on videos in Firefox worked perfectly. Now, it's situational. 5 years ago, on Chrome, I could install extensions to stop autoplay and stop GIFs from animating. Now, none are supported because it's not "best practices". The internet is so much worse for epileptics now when it had been getting so good. It's so depressing.

       I used to be able to browse feeling decently confident in keeping myself safe. Now, I'm having to go way out of my way to keep myself safe.
