       @Nonilex beyond how horrible this all is, I still find it baffling that polygraphs are taken seriously in the American system. There's a reason why they're not admissible evidence in court in most places.Of course maybe that makes it even worse?

       @Nonilex LOL. There aren't enough polygraphs or trained users to administer polygraphs for every employee at the DoD, DHS, and DoJ. But dictatorships are willing to pursue any policy to intimidate their critics into silence.

       @Nonilex Last time I checked, the scientific consensus was that polygraph tests don't work. That never kept US officials from using them. In Europe, they are never used because everyone knows they are poppycock.
