@boilingsteam ok so in that case it is probably GOG/Steam on the same level with GOG being preferred way. Even sometimes buying in local game shop if game is available in physical form for PC

@boilingsteam yeah I have few. Usually smaller indie games 🤷♂️ usually I buy lot of Czech games and they have game data disk. How many of those are playable without steam … that I am not sure. Except farming sim as it’s game disk is actually giants store license and physical copy is not redeemable on steam

@alihan_banan @boilingsteam there are no drm-free stores. Some gog games partially require internet connection for their function, some steam games have no drm. It's all about PR.

@Suiseiseki It's not like you have a lot of choice though. There are very few FOSS games out there, and they certainly can't compare with the commercial offering. It'd not what I like it to be, but it's the reality.

@boilingsteam I just linked to a wiki containing a large number of free software games, some of which are commercial.There is no problem with a game being commercial - there is no excuse why the game shouldn't respect the users freedom.
