@FeartnTired @BILLSan345 @Funsizescot1975 @TriptychTwinsRidesAgain But why are we proud of an innate preference when it comes to our sexuality, something that we didn't choose? I've never really understood all of this. And I had to mostly figure things out for myself here. I've never felt a part of any community relating to sexuality or identity politics. I don't know who the pride parades are for but it doesn't seem to be for me.

I know it wasn't that long ago that it was criminalised though so we have come along way from then. I guess that I'm more indifferent/neutral about it, like it's just normal for me.

The worst thing that you can do is internalise the shame about yourself I think. I do also worry if we're asking to do more than straight people do when it comes to things like pride.
