@su Tornadoes don't mean shit when you're properly prepared.

@su There's two of 'em in there, both are girls and neither are all that old, but the hidden one, Inga, had back surgery for a ruptured disk necessitated the stroller. Then, the one without any back problem, Greta, decided she didn't really like walking all that much and wanted to ride in the stroller with Inga. So now, I guess its just us humans that are going to be getting any exercise on these walks.Today was our first outing in sprinkling rain, which wasn't quite up to a tornado level, but gave us a chance to try out the rain canopy for the first time and it worked well.

@su We also inherited this newfangled, feral, black cat that our next-door neighbor had been setting food out for. He has Parkinsons and senile dementia which got so bad his kids decided to place him in memory care facility up in Salem. We didn't like continuing that arrangement in his absence, so we trapped "his" cat and are trying, with limited success, to tame her. She can be quite vicious when it suits her, but we named her Muninn rather than @su anyway. She hasn't earned a ride in the stroller yet.
