       @Wormwood Back when I played stellaris I'd purposefully capture enemy planets after heavy bombardment, move the bad pops across my empire there, then use the planet as a bargain chip with the previous holder or another enemy empire.Then if I was lucky, I'd get to bomb the planet again and just remove the pops altogether.This meant extremely high approval rating and policy support all the time.

       @Wormwood There was actually a method used to completely fuck over the other players using something like this.  Basically, you would speed towards gene editing to created the dumbest nigger aliens possible.  You would stack negative traits on them.  Lazy, stupid, repugnant, fast breeder, etc.  Then, you lock them on a single planet you own and sell any new ones that spawn on the galactic slave market. Xenophile Empires would buy slaves just to turn them into citizens, poisoning their populations and economies.  This would cause them to collapse and do waves of refugees into the empire of the person you're playing with, while You have absolutely zero problems because you have closed borders.
