@carolen pack with gauze, but don't overdo it, otherwise it will prop your mouth open and make it worse.put a large piece of saranwrap or other plastic on top of your pillow, then put a soft old shirt or rag (that you don't mine staining) that is comfortable on top of that plastic.

@carolen I had 3 taken out a couple years ago.They packed them with gauze and sent extra to change it with.By nighttime it wasn’t bleeding anymore.The worst one, a bottom molar, they put a bed of gell to help prevent dry socket.It lasted a couple days.All in all not too bad an experience.

@carolen had one a month or two ago. Hope for no "sinus communication". Mine would clot but Everytime I would sneeze/blow my nose/sniff to hard it would start up again. Bled for 2 days before I got back in for stitches.
