       The core Constitutional responsibility of a Federal judge is to uphold Federal law. If their principles and/or ideology make them unable to do that, their only honorable course of action is to resign. That's why I would never consent to holding that job.Those judges are being arrested, charged and prosecuted because they're blatantly breaking Federal criminal law. They have every right to find those laws repugnant, but they don't have any valid ethical right to break those laws while serving as a Federal office holder, the core part of whose oath of service is to "support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic." That oath necessarily includes enforcing--and not breaking--laws enacted by Congress that have yet to be held Unconstitutional by a higher court.
