Collecting my husband from a routine hospital thing. Very nice of them to have this tea machine for me to play with. I’m alarmed that many of the “pods” mention coffee. But how bad could it be? I’m not such an incurable tea snob that I can’t have a little adventure!

It smells like lemon. I think it’s been sweetened?? And when I looked in the “pod” after using it… it’s full of what looks like coffee grounds! not a leaf in sight 😵💫😟

@futurebird I can’t tell if this thread is sarcasm, so appologies if I’m reply-gal-ing here.These pods are all just freeze dried products. Nothing is actually brewed, it’s just rehydrating previously brewed beverages (except for the hot chocolates, which is just cocoa powder and sugar). So yeah, no leaves.

@futurebird I bought some Assam from Tea India and it looks like coffee grounds. Not buying it again. Looks like they pelletized it.
