@Nonilex @maddad just for your information: there’s nothing new or unique about golden visas. They have been around in the United Arab Emirates for quite awhile and everybody who invest more than 2 million dirham qualifies for obtaining such a golden Visa. I write this because it is suggested on multiple outlets that this is something special for the Trump tower. It’s not. Nor is it unique for the UAE. Portugal for example,offers a similar option.

@Nonilex the golden Visa has been around in the United Arab Emirates for a couple of years now. Everybody who invest more than 2 million dirham will be eligible for a golden Visa. You will never acquire an Emirati passport, you will never become a citizen of the Emirates, no matter how much money you bring with you. You will get a golden Visa, which is a residency visa. It’s okay if people are annoyed or associate this with corruption but Portugal for example, has a similar option.
