I don't think there is such a thing as a "good billionaire"For me, a "billionaire" is per definition terribleIf you manage to hoard over a billion, perhaps it's time to stop hoarding and start spending and giving awayA good billionaire is a broke billionaire but hey, it wouldn't be a billionaire anymore then :nkoShrug: 🎙️⬇️

@stux I can't say what exact amount or how rich is too rich, but I know it when I see it.

@stux Hm. This is making me think of slogans. I like "A good billionaire is a broke billionaire." It would go great on a sign."A good billionaire is a former billionaire.""A good billionaire is losing their fortune at a rate faster than anyone else is gaining theirs."Okay, I need to work on my bumper sticker game, but I think there are multiple avenues.

@stux (not sure if you even get the message anymore :D)But come on. The billionare status means you own also assets and companies. So, if you own a company that actually helps people, and going public would mean inevitable enshitification, then wouldn't it be moral to keep control?(obviously, this is theoretical post, since all of them are psychopath anyway)

@stux The other problem with this idea is that they never donate at equivalent to how much they've stolen from working class and middle class people. But especially the working class. Also, I don't want all the donating power to be in the hands of a small subset of people. If I want to say screw you to someone, it shouldn't screw over the donations and defund entire agencies because one person's feelings are hurt.

@stux wealth cannot be accumulated without taking the money from someone else. So the question always is: how many people's lives have you influenced negatively?Money as a whole is the issue. Not just capitalism.

@stux yeah but also they don't really. They do that for the tax relief it gives them.
