       On Monday Trump will sign two new executive orders   ⚠️to ramp up his administration’s immigration crackdown, Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, said.  One will “unleash America’s law enforcement to pursue criminals”  and the other is aimed at identifying “sanctuary cities”that don’t cooperate with federal immigration enforcement, Ms. Leavitt said. Deportations:  Two U.S. citizens, ages 4 and 7, were sent to Honduras last week with their mother, who was deported, the family’s lawyer said.  Lawyers said the mother was not given an option to leave her children in the United States.        @cdarwin If the administration was serious about deportations, ICE would show up with buses at farms, at construction sites, and at restaurants. If they were really serious, they'd be arresting the employers who turn a blind eye to their workers' immigration status.But they are not doing those things because that would piss off their donors. And that's how we know it's all performative bullshit.

       @cdarwin The one that bother me the most is “unleash America’s law enforcement to pursue criminals”. As ICE seemingly has unrestricted power to do as they choose anyone who writes a column or insults him publicly will immediately be at risk to be labeled a criminal. Trump is mentally unhinged. And nothing will keep him from saying or doing anything he wants in response to what he feels is insulting.
