@NoDoxGregBrady Out here in flyover country we pay $3.75 a gallon from the Amish. We buy it on the honor system. You go in, fill your glass jars from a large vat of milk, put your money in a coffee can and take change if you need it.

@NoDoxGregBrady @ThePoastmasterGeneral if it's supporting a family cause and they are on a trajectory that's a little more legit.most operations I've seen start higher and come down as they get rolling / find security. I don't know if I've ever seen it that high, but in these times maybe it's fair math.if it's an established outfit and there really isn't competition in your area, that's not so friendly but hardball supply and demand. id probably pass.I think drinking milk is gross across the board, but I did a lot of self science and determined that pasteurized milk was the cause of my 20 year plague of mouth ulcers. I thank raw milk for helping me realize what was going on. I believe there is a lot to be said for the negative affects of pasteurization in theory and so I expect there is validity to the general health benefit claims of raw.
