@paul @EugestShirley I generally refuse to buy new tools, only used tools here. The two screwdrivers in there ($1 each) are old Craftsman tools, which I have found to be very good quality.

@ai6yr They don't make tools, esp screwdrivers, like they used to.When the grandfather that primarily raised me (1912-1991) passed away, one of the things I got was his tool "sack." I still use his screwdriver. I keep it in the office drawer, safe where I know where it is.I remember him using it when I was very young and I am in my early to mid-50s now@EugestShirley

@paul @BubblegumYeti @ai6yr Most tools sold now are cast steel instead of drop forged. Forged costs more, so people choose the cheaper option.
