@berkberkman What? No, the tradeoff is you deal with the bacon on the burger being slightly cold; this allows you to fry the burgers in bacon grease and then fry the eggs in the burger/bacon grease while the cheese melts onto the burger.

@p I forget that cooking a bunch of bacon pieces alone will also yield enough fat for pan frying some more in general. I still prefer beef tallow though because I love beef.
