Nicolae Ceaușescu enacted many of these policies in Communist Romania and while they saw very short term boosts in the succeeding couple years the overall trend still was a reduction in births.We can say the same for the European pro-familily policies of the 00's and 10's which improved quality of life but didn't boost birth rates. And we see the same in China, South Korea, Japan and many other places.1/
