Politically inspired and inspiring festivals are not some frivolous sideshow-- they allow citizens to experience each others’ presence, their emotional dispositions (many are seething with anger!), and their commitment.Our numbers will be not go unnoticed by politicians-- or the courts

@cdarwin Just what I said to a doubter ~20 years ago about an Iraq war demo.Resistance can't be all sitting behind a computer writing, and it can't be all unseen but dangerous actions.There has to be singing, and yelling, and anger, and joy.
