       Unplug laptop from power (when it says it's 100% charged) and it turns off. Turns out laptop was 0% charged. That's interesting..

       @ryandaniels sounds like it might either be a dead battery or poor contact where the battery plugs into the laptop

       @brandon Weird thing is that it charged back up in a normal amount of time and appears fine now when unplugging. And I have an internal and external battery (Thinkpad t480). Battery health claims around 80% on both batteries.

       @ryandaniels Very strange, maybe some sort of power protection mechanism was tripped. I've seen this quite a bit with Dell laptops when I've worked on them
