@stux It's dumb that you can be in the cabinet of the US government without being elected first. You just get nominated by a President, then voted on by Congress (?). Pete Hegseth was never voted in by the people, and he's the Defense Secretary?!The UK cabinet consists of MPs who were elected by the people, so our Defence Secretary is chosen by the Prime Minister - like it is in most other countries. Our PM doesn't just nominate a TV show host!America is so backwards, and it shows.
