Anyone remember the time when Chrome was considered a resource hog (mostly because it had better isolation between tabs)I feel #Firefox is worse now. I run #Chromium too but firefox does seem to deteriorate more than #ChromiumHaving had firefox get killed by the OS I've just done a "swapoff -a; swapon -a" to make the system more responsive again 🙄

@sxa I remember the time when Mosaic was considered a resource hog, and things like chimera were trialled as lightweight alternatives.

@sxa I do indeed remember IE for Unix.I think I've still got a copy of IE for Solaris kicking around here someplace. Might try and get it working, just for entertainment value.

@lanodan @ptribble i didn't realise it was available for HP-UX too - I didn't try that one - thought it was only released for Solaris!
