       My wife tried to buy a pastry from a Korean vendor while we were on a layover tour. Turns out we didn't have quite enough won left for this $2 pastry, so the vendor just gave it to her. Knowing full well that we were tourists on a 4 hour tour and would never see him again, he then refused to take the won that we had, and also refused US dollars, Vietnamese dong, and Thai baht in larger amounts than the cost of the pastry.
