@pussreboots I just did a W. Gibson multi-book marathon ending with "All Tomorrow's Parties" something about the way Gibson writes makes it easier for me to write because he's *almost* doing what I want to do with tone... so I get a lot of ideas. But, I need to move to a new author tomorrow so... Have not decided.

@pussreboots Are you listening to a good book? Some books work better as audio.

@futurebird I recently finished When the Moon Hits Your Eye by John Scalzi. Silly premise as a means to talk about serious issues. Excellent book.

@futurebird you have to love and hate the grindset in varying measure, otherwise it's just sparkling organization

@futurebird could you get ants to clean up after the cats? 🤔"This is how you get ants" kind of loses its strength as an argument with you 😂

@futurebird I was up at 5:15, showered by 5:30 while dog doo'd, coffee'd and gone by quarter-till.First at work every time.🙁Clocked-in and heavy-lifting after shitass email, by 6:15.I tore a section of Produce racks down every day by that point in a constant cycle of deep-cleaning a chunk or display every morning, then restocking and makin' it fluffy💚Then on alternate morns I'd unload and haul about 3000 lbs of yummy green things for faces and teeth and guts and butts.By 8.Lunch at 10.

@GGMcBG "I tore a section of Produce racks"I didn't understand the context and thought this meant you just... ransacked a bodega every morning for no reason for a moment!

@futurebird I mostly listen to cozy mysteries when I'm listening to audiobooks. The John Scalzi book was a rare exception.

@futurebirdDon't ever tell the grindsetters that their day contains the same 16h awake time, no matter when their grind starts. So might as well start whenever feels best. My morning routine also contains some writing, fitness, dog walks, light household and time for breakfast and reading before walking to the office. But does not start at 3:52am, nor at 5am, nor 6am. But my usual day lasts until somewhere between 23:00-01:00.
