@foone Though to be fair I don't understand how tumblr keeps going. It's mysterious. I'm very happy that it's there. There are some very fun playful communities of people who love insects there and I don't know where else they would go. I even pay for tumblr... but lord knows not enough people are to keep it running.

Tumblr is home to some of the last innocent places on the internet. I have friends there who only care about bugs and they used to be at livejournal when it was safe in that way. None of us ever understood the porn thing, it didn't impact us but we got mad on behalf of those who it did hurt.

@futurebird I like Tumblr but goddamnit their moderation is...I was going to say nonexistent but no it's existent in entirely the wrong areas. "no you can't post arms but you can constantly harass random jews, literally admit you are an antisemite, and still not be banned"(Yes, real incident.
