       @stux inwas talking with a friend about seeing if wed would do a Wolfenstein  Mod where the nazi flag and hitler portraits would be American Flags and trump portraits, and make the soldiers dress like white trash  with maga hats...

       @stux If you're willing to go that far, the official protest thing is to make the flag upside down.This would upset some people though, so up to you if you'd actually want to do that.

       @stux I've always seen it simply flipped vertically, not horizontally too.  (Eg the stars are on the left.)I'm not sure how much it matters.  The key point is just that it's upside down to say that America is upside down.

       @stux Yep.  Never seen it with the other bit phased in like you did, so I'm not sure if it wouldn't maybe confuse some, but otherwise this is it.  Stars on the left, but upside down like that.  Inverted because America is inverted, or so the idea goes.

       @stux It's a warning sign, to me. As I walk my neighborhood I am suspicious of any house flying an American flag.Some still fly their nazi flags, so they're confirmed as shite If they have a 🏳️‍🌈 or transgender flag, they're OK. Same if I see a sign for our food coop or supporting the library,  these folks are OK.There's one house with an American flag, shredded to pieces and stuck in their tree. Don't know it's story but I feel it in my bones
