Read an article about a self-hosted note-taking app. The problem is, I have no interest in using a note-taking app styled on Obsidian in the browser.

@rogueren For some people. But if you sync it with Nextcloud, it doesn't store anything in .md files, it stores them in some silly format that only it can read.

@thelinuxcast I use nextcloud notes. iotas when I'm on Linux and vs code when on windows (using a markdown extension, and opening nextcloud notes folder directly ) I save all my notes as .md and have had no issues in,... Awhile. Am I doing something wrong? I mean,.... It's really quite a perfect setup. LoL
