@MelissaBearTrix #uspolSorry, but I respectfully disagree....Trump knows exactly what he is doing..He has been saying he would do this for over a decade, but people thought it was bluster and hyperbole..So they are surprised when he does what he said he would do..Sure it hurts a lot of people and destroys eighty years of trust and good will - but his mates are making a shit ton of money..Yes it makes life hard for small businesses, but that allows big business to consolidate its wealth and power..It's wrong, it's evil.But it's premeditated and going exactly to plan....This is not foolishness, it's self serving evil...This is Trump...

@splat @MelissaBearTrixI can follow your thoughts, but could this also be the case:- Trump once had a thought about tariffs (which he does not understand)- he NEVER changes his mind, because that would mean defeat (remember #RoyCohn )- some other people see him as a useful idiot because of this- they buy the presidency and wait for everything coming their wayJust a thought.#uspol

@ericschutte @splat @MelissaBearTrix As a non-American, my view carries absolutely no weight, but... I think what America is experiencing under Trump (which IS awful) is the natural end-state for any country that puts capitalism ahead of everything else. It's also fair to say, that the Great British Colonial Experiment has failed; We (the British) should close down the project, and write up a lessons learned paper for peer review. 😜
