That SCOTUS order sounded good at first, but the business about "defer to the Executive Branch on foreign policy matters" and "the government should be prepared to share any data THAT IT CAN" are exceptions that effectively negate everything else. The Supremes flung the door wide open for the government to say "right, but we can't share that data" in response to anything the court asks for. And that's what they're now saying, and that's what they'll be saying until this whole thing gets dismissed as moot because Mr. Abrego Garcia has regrettably been shanked by one of those evil gang guys he's sharing the prison with.Grrr.
