       Steel industry is fucked. Lead times are outrageous and everything is expensive, twice as much as a few years ago. Only seems to be going up, both the lead times and the cost. How does one plan for this? You cannot. All you can do is apologize and ask for more money.

       @Zonz Follow the price of a hot roll coil. We are not even at half the peak currently. At $700 a ton US Mills are pretty much breaking even due to inputs.

       @Thesleepwalker Crazy. I don't see the production side of mills, but I do order a good amount of structural steel and the costs have been skyrocketing in the last two years. It makes planning exceptionally difficult.

       @Zonz I can only talk about flat roll. Structural is Nucor and other mini mill producers 😉
