A (secret) convention for people who were sent a “rick roll” but didn’t understand that they were being pranked and simply thought someone wanted them to listen to the song: "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley AND who never determined it was a joke.They are not told why they are invited but it’s a fancy all expense paid vacation, like the set up to a mystery novel. How many people would be able to attend? Will they ever determine why they are together?

@futurebird I imagine it as a Christopher Guest film like Best In Show. For the duration of the convention, everyone goes very sincerely about their day, talking about scheduled events and nightly concerts, exclaiming about the good or bad quality of the food and drink. Rick Astley performs, on the third and final night, and everyone agrees he put on a great show even though they weren’t familiar with him back in the day.

@futurebird I am fairly sure the first time I ever heard the song was when my brother was playing a dancing rhythm game (think dance dance revolution or pump, awfully popular in South Korea), trying out new songs, and he said "hey, check this out, this new song I got switches to Rick Astley's song never gonna give you up in the middle!" And he had to explain to me why that was funny.
