the fun thing about being a programmer is that sometimes you'll be like "I just need to do X, fortunately I already wrote a script to make doing X easy!" and then instead of just doing X with your script, you instead spend an hour slightly optimizing your X-script

It was gonna take, like, 20 minutes to convert these 11 GIF fields so I spent an hour rewriting my conversion code so I could do it in 5 minutes

@foone Same vibe as when I decide I'll set up a website for my students to generate problems to practice on and it'll take me 15 minutes because I already have the repo I just need to clone and pip install and run.Aaaand an hour on top of it because for some reason nginx is either not forwarding the scheme or gunicorn is ignoring it.Aaaaaaaand two more hours to fix all the bugs.
