So, regarding recent events and developments here on Minds... Some personal thoughts which I've meant to share for a while (and probably should've done that earlier).I've been making it clear I was intent on hanging on to this platform as long as possible, but even I got to the point where I'm not so sure about that anymore. With core community decreasing in terms of both activity and numbers, as well as some staff decisions which were questionable at best, it's impossible to ignore how dire the situation has become.Speaking of Sledge's ultimatum, of course I'm supportive of any and all efforts which could potentially lead to making this place better. I don't mind going radio silent here either - I've already put my posts on an indefinite break but I'm ready to do the same for any other kind of interaction (upvotes, reminds etc) just as well (although I'm still kinda hesitant to change the pfp for now).As it is right now, the future of Minds itself looks uncertain. What is certain in my case however, is that I'm definitely not joining the Abyss platform - I have my own reasons for that.

After giving it a long thought, I've eventually decided against following through with going radio silent here.Cause let's be honest, my absence wouldn't have affected Minds in financial way at all - in my (almost) five years on this platform I've never spent even a single dime on it.Although honestly, the ultimate factor was that I've immediately grown disillusioned in the ultimatum once the exodus happened.

Since minds is part of the fediverse now, I've been considering switching to an instance on there so I can both not be on minds but still interact with everyone on minds. Seems like the best of both especially for when minds inevitably becomes a ghost town.
