@stux It wasn’t that long ago that Americans were shocked when countries arrested and deported journalists who expressed opinions critical of that government. Now, America arrests and deports foreign students who have opinions. Maybe 300 according to Rubio.

@stux I feel like, if anything, we're actually moving towards what happened there (and perhaps even worse!) much faster.Never, so long as I shall live, will I be able to accept that a full 2/3rds of the country was ok with this. 1/3rd even voted directly for it and the other 1/3rd may just as well have by their willful choice not to vote against it. It seems I had way too much faith in humanity.

@stux @FallsMom They voted in a criminal. It's an obvious path they will go down. The thing that worries me is if he'll relinquish power in 4 years. or 6, whatever. The most likely outcome is, he wont. And will try and turn it into a dictatorship.He knows this. He belongs in prison along with buddy Husk. If they lost the elections, they would both be rotting in jail by now. But this victory, granted the opposite. And now the FAFO begins. Specifically the bad stuff. Shame he survived.
