I think the left will keep losing until they stop complaining about us getting rid of murderers and drug dealersI think they will be learning their lesson over the next year or two and pivot though, which will prove a challenge to a right wing that essentially has no unified ideological vision for the future

@realcaseyrollins What do you consider an ideological vision? Ideally, we want to remove all criminals that pose a threat to our way of life. Ideally, we want to make our border strong to keep criminals out.Ideally, we want to put America first and strengthen our workforce and economy.

@Klang Strong border and deporting violent criminals *are* political policies, but "put America first" and "strengthen the economy" are goals.But the thing about #MAGA is #Trump could oppose all of that and they'd still support him, so it's not really about any of that at the end of the day.

@realcaseyrollins Trump is these things and these are the things that he is doing.As far as MAGA being Lemmings to Trump, I strongly disagree. But, the only way to really know is if Trump actually were to oppose what he's doing which would mean he would oppose himself.I doubt this will ever be put to the test.MAGA has the mandate and Trump is the facilitator and I don't foresee that changing.Democrats can keep falling up until they disappear from sight. The are obsolete now.

@realcaseyrollins The key is that the American left needs to talk not about opposing getting rid of murderers and drug dealers but about the processes by which we do that fairly and legally.And they have to talk about it in a coherent, accessible, and most importantly, accurate way.The #MAGA crowd rose in an environment where the left stopped addressing them and explaining the real answers to their concerns, instead dismissing them out of hand... and giving those votes and minds over to the likes of #Trump.The left has so much of civics on their side, but they continue to ignore that opportunity, allowing the right to march forward in ignorance.#USPolitics

We've watched Trump pivot on issues and seen his champions go right along with him, as if he's always had those opinions and he was always right.YES Trump does oppose himself. @realcaseyrollins Firstly, to emphasize it, we can show Americans that the legal process can support the cause of dealing with rapists.But back to my response:In a way that's my point.Americans don't care... even though caring would get them closer to their goals. The point is to communicate to Americans why they should care.The failure of the left goes hand in hand with Americans not caring about legal process. That needs to change, and it can change, if only the left would bother.
