@stux To be clear: It's not really Europeans free-loading. This whole situation is because the US maneuvered itself to this situation. Also tbc: The cost will have to be paid by the US. They are doing this on their own orders. This isn't something what "Europeans" asked for.And Hegseth was right in one thing: It was in a way leaked by Michael Waltz.

@stux Does no one close to trump, his inner inner circle, see how Vance and the rest are manipulating him? @stux Most governments work on a "need to know basis". So beyond this interaction becoming public those who are invited to cabinet meetings, like Musk, don't really need to know much of the stuff that is going on to do his job, albeit badly. Even during Trump's first administration there was questionable practices regarding classified information. Classified information leaks can risk peoples lives, its painful to see them behave like this.

@stux We also see that they have disappearing messages turned on and I'm sure not just for that specific chat. Runs afoul of the records act but they're deleting many if not most of their conversions that should be part of the public record.
