I was thirty years of anti-Cruise and the last five kind of appreciating him more. @VikingWays @jb It's surprisingly well-done, given the topic. Yet it never once crosses the boundary of insulting the nips with a Da Wyman Be Bedder An Shiet. It was a Man on his own journey, seeing his own faults and learning from them. And the slantyeyed yellow bastard they chose opposite him was well-cast, as his natural firmness and charisma carried - it wasn't a story about "Do What Makes You Happy" or any of the wishy-washy bullshit from that time, it was more facing struggle head-on and becoming better through mastering the difficulties.

The 'Last Samurai' isn't even Tom Cruise either which is a common misinterpretation of the film because of how it was advertised.The biggest issue with Black Ass Fag is that factually there WAS a White samurai (William Adams or 'Miura Anjin' to the Japanese) who lived the life, married, and died happily in Japan in the 1600s just 20 years after the events portrayed in the most recent Ubiflop.

We can agree to disagree on Maverick. I wasn't a fan of the original Top Gun, I saw it in the theatres and all I remember is the song "Take My Breath Away" as they fucked. I mean, yeah, it's not unusual for a historical drama to take a lot of liberties but the Yakuza video game that takes place during that time period was closer in accuracy and it features a guy hitting cannon balls with a baseball bat.

Most ranges won't even allow it, so you have to do a lot of dry fire at home, and live fire practice on private ranges, or on public lands where there are no range tyrants.

Shoulder holsters are extremely comfortable to wear when seated, and thus became very popular among police detectives back in the day. The beginnings of citizen carry came from police carry, so the shoulder holster entered into the picture.This is despite the fact that 1) police detectives rarely have to use their firearms and 2) when they do it's almost never for self-defense. It's drawn deliberately when initiating an arrest.Anyone that has ever worn one for any amount of time (and actually used their firearm) will soon discover that it is quite cumbersome to draw from. And extremely slow.Add in the risk of shooting yourself during the draw stroke, and we generally do not recommend it for daily use.

I have an undershirt with an integrated pocket that I use for deep concealment. I'll carry a very small gun, usually my Ruger LCR, in it if I'm going to be in a place where I simply cannot be made out as carrying.It's extremely slow to draw from but it's that huge step up from having nothing.

I didn't have a small enough pistol for it, but my brother-in-law did, so I gave it to him. Not sure if he ever used it, though. Now days, while I don't really like the caliber, I'll drop a Beretta Bobcat loaded with CCI Stingers in my pocket in a wallet holster if I have to be deep deep undercover. Beats a sharp stick.

I've got a Bobcat but I just can't bring myself to trust rimfire with my life. I've been considering picking up a Tomcat in 32ACP. With Hornady Critical Defense rounds it would be, as you say, better than a sharp stick.
