       @anthropy OK but have you ever tried flying a quad like that? It's absolutely thrilling. Best use of "VR" ever. I ran into a tree and almost died on the spot it was like being a BEE!

       @futurebird FPV drones are absolutely amazing, no argument there, I just thought this silly clamp-on yagi thing looked hilarious and amazing in all the wrong ways

       @futurebird yagi antennas could work here for directional transmission, but I'm pretty sure you'd actually have to route the wire for the antenna through the yagi, I don't think it works if you just clamp it onto the plastic shell of the existing antenna :P but who knows!At least you could look like a wicked mothperson while you playing with the FPV drone :apartyblobcat:

       @anthropy @futurebird I don't really understand how this is supposed to work, though. You can't see while you're wearing it, so how are you supposed to keep them pointed towards the drone?

       @draeath @anthropy OK I don't really know what I'm talking about. I used to build quads and do a little POV racing in the park years back. And this makes me want to do it again and none of the reasons are well thought out at all.
