@stux Unfortunately the right wing has been planning a capture of all three branches of US government since the 1965 Civil Rights Act. A large part of our "left" wing are neoliberals who side with corporate money...so couldn't be counted on to shore up our rights when we did have power. It's why so many citizens dont vote.Impeachment needs the Congress. It's captured. Conviction needs the Senate, and that's captured. The last bulwark is the Supreme Court and, you guessed it, also captured.
